Gorilla Trekking

3 Days Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience in Uganda

Safari Overview

Bwindi impenetrable national park is home to over 800 mountain gorillas, representing nearly half of the world’s remaining population of this endangered species. These great primates share about 98% of their DNA with humans, making encounters with them truly remarkable. The forest itself is a rich tropical rainforest, teeming with diverse birdlife, unique tree species, mammals, insects, and butterflies. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bwindi is one of the few remaining ancient tropical rainforests in the world. It is also home to the indigenous Batwa people, whose culture and traditional forest-based lifestyle are rare and deeply significant. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi is therefore a once-in-a-lifetime experience, combining extraordinary wildlife encounters with rich cultural heritage.
