ABOUT US
Waka Natures is deeply committed to the vital work of tree planting across Uganda. We believe that increasing our tree cover is fundamental to combating climate change, restoring ecosystems, and providing essential resources for communities. Through hands-on initiatives in schools and local areas, we empower individuals to actively participate in creating a greener and more sustainable environment for future generations.
Complementing our reforestation efforts is our dedication to eco-tourism. We strive to promote responsible and sustainable tourism practices that showcase Uganda's incredible natural beauty while directly benefiting local communities and supporting conservation efforts. By fostering a connection between tourism and environmental preservation, we aim to create economic opportunities that incentivize the protection of our precious ecosystems.
Integral to our mission is our charitable work, undertaken in close partnership with the Missionaries of the Poor. We are committed to extending compassionate support to vulnerable children and individuals, recognizing their inherent dignity and need for care. This partnership allows us to address immediate needs while also providing opportunities for growth and empowerment, fostering stronger and more resilient communities throughout Uganda.
