This 3-day tour takes you to Jinja cruise to the source of the Nile River. The journey continues to Sipi Falls of Mount Elgon. Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Jinja, Boat cruise and transfer to Mbale

Depending on your location—either at your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe International Airport—you will be picked up by your driver-guide to begin your journey toward eastern Uganda. Along the way, you will stop at Sezibwa Falls for a nature walk and a scenic hike. The drive continues through the lush Mabira Forest Reserve, passing tea plantations in Lugazi and expansive sugar plantations as you make your way to Jinja. Here, you will enjoy an unforgettable boat cruise to the source of the Nile River, with lunch served en route in Jinja. Afterward, you will continue toward Mbale, where you will check in at Mbale Resort Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Nature walk, hiking Sipi falls and coffee tour

 After breakfast, embark on a guided hike to explore the three waterfalls of Sipi, taking in breathtaking views of cascading waters, hidden caves, lush plantations, and charming local villages. Thrill-seekers can later try abseiling at the main Sipi waterfall (optional). In the afternoon, visit a coffee plantation to learn about the art of coffee cultivation, harvesting, and roasting, concluding with a freshly brewed cup of local Arabica coffee. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Mbale resort hotel.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/ Entebbe

Following a hearty breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala, with a stop for lunch along the way. On arrival in the evening, your guide will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala or to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight.
